Sinopsis anime Gachiakuta
Gachiakuta tells the story of living in a slum area of a prosperous city, where Rudo and his adoptive father, Regto, try to live side by side with the other residents of the city.
However, Rudo deeply despises the wastefulness of the upper class. Ignoring the warnings of those around him, Rudo routinely scavenges through the city’s trash to find usable items to save from the Abyss, a large pit where everything considered trash is thrown away, including humans.
Rudo’s biological father is one of them, thrown into the Abyss after being falsely accused of murder.
One day, after meeting a mysterious figure on his way home, Rudo returns to find Regto’s dying body on the floor. He is immediately found at the scene by the authorities and charged with murder.
No one believed his claim that he was innocent, and he was thrown into the Abyss. Instead of dying, he found himself in a strange, foul-smelling place, surrounded by monsters made of trash.
When Rudo was attacked by these monsters, he was saved by a man named Enjin, who claimed to be a Cleaner, someone who could use special weapons called Vital Instruments to fight these creatures. In order to take revenge on Regto’s killer, Rudo was forced to become a Cleaner to fight his way out of the Abyss.***
