Synopsis Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World
Our Last Crusade or the Rise of a New World a force known as Astral power possesses the entire world, wielded by astral witches. Fearing its destructive power, the “Empire” persecuted those who showed their abilities.
The tormented witches then founded the Nebulis Sovereignty to escape their oppressors. Since then, the two countries have been engaged in a fierce conflict, the war still raging fiercely for more than a century.
After committing a great crime and freeing an imprisoned witch, the talented knight Iska was sentenced to prison. A year later, the Empire’s leadership suddenly decided to release her, on the condition that she hunt down a witch known as the “Witch of the Ice Disaster.” Hoping to end the war, Iska agreed.
Coincidentally, it is the Witch of Ice Disaster herself, Aliceliese “Alice” Lou Nebulix XI, who also desires peace and is willing to do whatever she can to bring down the Empire.
As Iska and Alice both yearn for a crusade that will transform the world into one without struggle, sorrow, or pain, the threads of fate bind them ever tighter, creating a bond that transcends anything made by mere chance.***
